Welcome to my home page! As you can see, I have not spent much time on it. You might want to take a look at these other links for now.
I store some of my source on github.
You can follow me on twitter as fsfiii.
ruby, an amazing programming language I've used a lot. You can find some of my work related to ruby here.
I have a small hadoop dumping area.
python, another great language that I've spent a lot of time with. If you really want to see some nice python programs, you can check out the Python Cookbook. I have a relatively basic cross-platform 'du' implementation listed in it.
I like to play backgammon.
lifstat, a linux utility I wrote that reports network interface I/O statistics
fsql, a replacement program for Oracle's sqlplus that I wrote a long time ago
my (very old) experience with installing and running Linux on a Toshiba Satellite 2060CDS laptop (now running NetBSD)
AfterStep, an X11 window manager project I started that used to be really cool since everything was nice and pretty and easy to use ... I stopped work on the project after releasing version 1.0 but some people picked it up and appear to be still updating it. I used Window Maker for a good 5 or 6 years, switched to an excellent lightweight window manager called pekwm for another few years, then Gnome and compiz with Fedora Linux, and then OpenBox under Arch Linux for a while. I now use OS X.
