fsql is an interface to Oracle that should be much easier to use than the standard sqlplus. A lot of the behavior is modeled after the mysql client program.
fsql requires the GNU readline library. You can get that from here.
The fsql source code is free under the GPL.
As you can see, this is only version 0.31. I have spent fewer than 4 days on fsql and there may be bugs. While I do not think anything will go horribly wrong, there is always that chance. So, you might not want to use this to alter or delete from any of your large production tables.
